To Qualify
Applicants must be entering Grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2023.
CMYC and Health
CMCA cares about the well-being of our singers, and respects provincial health guidelines. Participants must be willing to follow provincial health measures, should any be in place at the time of CMYC 2023.
Camp Dates
The choir will rehearse at two rehearsal camp weekends, to be held at Circle Square Ranch, near Austin.
Rehearsal Camp #1
Thursday, September 14 @ 7pm – Sunday, September 17 @ 3pm
Rehearsal Camp #2
Friday, September 29 @ 7pm – Sunday, October 1 @ 3pm
Tour Dates
CMYC 2023 will perform on tour throughout the Central Region from Thursday, October 12 @ 4 pm through Monday, October 16 @ 6pm.
Successful applicants must be able to attend all rehearsals and recording sessions.
Auditions
Auditions will be held in May 2023. Singers will be notified as to times. Please check your email, and consider following us on Instagram (@centralmbchoralassociation) to stay up to date with announcements.

The Central Manitoba Youth Choir was formed to provide a high quality choral experience for senior high students demonstrating musical ability. Members have the opportunity to develop their skills and talents in an intensive choral setting.
