Central manitoba youth choir
Each fall season, CMYC provides a high quality choral experience for high school singers in the Central Region. We are excited to welcome conductor Avonlea Armstrong-Green and accompanist Loren Hiebert for the 2025 season! Find more info about them here or by viewing the brochure below.
CMYC 2025
To Qualify
Applicants must be entering Grade 10, 11, or 12 in September 2025.
Camp Dates
The choir will rehearse at two rehearsal camp weekends, to be held at Circle Square Ranch, near Austin.
Rehearsal Camp #1
Thursday, September 18th – Sunday, September 21st
Rehearsal Camp #2
Friday, October 3rd – Sunday, October 5th
Tour Dates
CMYC 2025 will perform on tour throughout the Central Region from Thursday, October 16th through Sunday, October 19th, 2025.
Successful applicants must be able to attend all rehearsals and performance dates.

The Central Manitoba Youth Choir was formed to provide a high quality choral experience for senior high students demonstrating musical ability. Members have the opportunity to develop their skills and talents in an intensive choral setting.
