CMYC auditions have arrived!Thanks to all for your patience! We've been hard at work orchestrating auditions for our 2024 CMYC ensemble, and singers can now sign up for the time slot of their choosing. Click below to learn more about our new audition process. As we sort out new audition processes, we are excited to try a new format for CMYC auditions! FORMAT: Based on application numbers, we will be hosting auditions in specific towns/cities each year, and offering the virtual option as an alternative for those who are unable (or simply do not wish) to drive. Our intention is to rotate the venues each year in order to maximize access and adjust depending on how many students apply from different areas. This will also allow us to save our auditioner from 10+ hour days! This year, auditions will be held in:
Note: If you are keen to host auditions in your town in future years, please reach out to us! We have a few volunteers working very hard on CMYC, and would love to share the load where possible! All students will be able to sign up for the timeslot of their choosing by using the links below. AUDITION SIGN-UP: Follow the button below to select an audition time. You will receive an email to confirm your audition. If you have chosen a virtual audition, it will include a Google Meet link. Save this link in your calendar. If the audition booking link doesn't work, here's the URL: https://calendar.app.google/xUzqMv28AnyKHVK49 Please remember to fill out AND bring your completed Audition Information sheet. (scroll down to download) Our auditioner will be looking at the sheet during your audition so it is very important to have this done in advance. If you are auditioning online, please send a digital copy of the form in no later than noon on the day of your audition. This copy can be a photo of your filled out form, a saved PDF, etc. As long as you double check that it stays filled out when you send it!
